Community Association Institute
Community Associations Institute (CAI) is a national organization dedicated to fostering vibrant, competent, harmonious community associations. For more than 30 years, CAI has been the leader in providing education and resources to the volunteer homeowners who govern community associations and the professionals who support them.
CAI members include community association volunteer leaders, professional managers, community management firms and other professionals and companies that provide products and services to associations.
Working closely with state, regional and local chapters (almost 60 nationwide) , CAI brings together experts to provide the latest information on community association management and governance. CAI serves members with books, seminars and workshops, research, continuing education and periodicals, including Common Ground magazine and specialized newsletters on community association management, governance and law.
CAI also advocates for legislative and regulatory policies that support responsible governance and effective management. CAI represent the interests of members before the U.S. Congress, federal agencies and other policy-setting bodies on issues such as taxes, insurance, bankruptcy reform and fair housing. In addition, state Legislative Action Committees represent CAI members before state legislatures and agencies on issues such as assessment collection, foreclosure and construction defects.

Financial Executives International
The professional association of choice for the corporate finance executive
Financial Executives International (FEI) was established in New York City in December 1931 as The Controllers Institute of America, with membership open only to controllers. It began with 30 members.
The original purpose was to define the members' profession, exchange ideas about its practice, educate themselves and others and work with the government to improve the general economy. As the role of the financial executive has grown, so has the organization to reflect the global reach of FEI and its members.
FEI has become the leading advocate for the views of corporate financial management. Its 15,000 members hold policy-making positions as chief financial officers, treasurers, and controllers. FEI enhances member professional development through peer networking, career planning services, conferences, publications, and special reports and research. Members participate in the activities of 86 chapters, 75 of which are in the U.S. and 11 in Canada.
International Code Council
The International Code Council, a membership association dedicated to building safety and fire prevention, develops the codes used to construct residential and commercial buildings, including homes and schools.
The International Code Council (ICC) was established in 1994 as a nonprofit organization dedicated to developing a single set of comprehensive and coordinated national model construction codes. The founders of the ICC are Building Officials and Code Administrators International, Inc. (BOCA) , International Conference of Building Officials (ICBO) , and Southern Building Code Congress International, Inc. (SBCCI). Since the early part of the last century, these nonprofit organizations developed the three separate sets of model codes used throughout the United States. Although regional code development has been effective and responsive to our country’s needs, the time came for a single set of codes. The nation’s three model code groups responded by creating the International Code Council and by developing codes without regional limitations the International Codes.
